Just wandering what people think of their government? I believe we are all being controlled. I don't like it. But what can we do about it? I work hard and so does my wife. We neither can afford a car, or even be able to travel our own country. We are controlled with money and greed. No one should have to live in poverty anymore. No one just plays for the love of the sport anymore. Who really knows what the answer is? I just don't want to see it lead to civil war in anymore countries. This is just me releasing some frustration, feel free to leave your comments.

The good news is you have awoken up to being controlled the bad news is it is only going to get worse, what can we do? many things.

It is a sad state of affairs I agree, and feel for you. My last bastian of escape here in RSA is the game reserves, love getting into nature an feeling free, but that is even changing and have become so so comercial, prices have become out of my reach : ( realizing I have to pay to see the beauty of my surrounding that is the right of every human being.

The problem is Franky the people of the entire world need to unite, not just a few demonstrations in certain unhappy countrys. It needs to be a unity of all of us, yet we are so ingrained already with the "divide and conquer" mentality that its near imposible to create a front. Issue 1 religious differences! Its about time for a world revolutionary (catalyst).

What does everyone think of Scotland wanting to leave the UK? Fed up with Westminster? Fed up being controlled by the government?
Rohan

But will the residents of Scotland
not then be controlled by another (their own) government?

Scotland having there own independence comes into what jonesy mentioned the divide and conquer mentality, why do you think that there is multiply nations now wanting independence?you can look at the eastern block was broke up who really gained?well I can tell you it was not the people, the same could be said about the civil war between the serbs and croatia who did it benefit?it makes sense for the elite to break countries up and create a false independence, by the way I am not saying everything was great in the old eastern block, far from it but every country around the world is slowly getting weakened and on a personal note I would like the scottish stay part of the uk as the saying goes "united we stand divided we fall".

Not wanting to get on the political bandwagon but we here in Scotland are being governed by people we did not vote in. There has only been one Tory voted in in Scotland in the last 20 years. There is going to be an election in Scotland 6 months after the vote on independence (if we get it). That way at least we will be governed by a party that we democratically voted for. In my mind its also amusing that we are being fed all sorts of propaganda up her about the split from the uk but there might be a vote on exiting Europe.

Vambo I get where you're coming from because I would not have any of them running the country if I had my way, I am looking at the bigger picture for instance who is to say in 100 years there is propaganda bs and we go to war with each other? sounds far fetched? all it takes is something like the crap that is happening in the middle east now or a groomed militant dictator, as for europe debate, three words.
new world order.

Think your at it Frankiescouser, why would Scotland and England start a war, is not as if we have gas or oil fields on our doorstep:)

Simple answer greed, do not need gas/oil when they can tax you, look at it like a mafia shakedown.

Even if/when Scotland gets independence doesn't Salmon just want to hand everything over to Brussels anyway way?

So you swap one lot you didn't vote for, for another lot that you didn't vote for. Hardly a win is it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Scotland is predominantly socialist labour, if Salmon hasn't got us into Brussels as you put it, theirs a very good chance he would be out of office within six months of the vote. This is the first time in my life time I and other Scots could have a say in who governs us. It was only disclosed last week by Dennis Healey that if the scots knew in the 70, s exactly what the oil industry was bringing in they would have won the 1979 vote, but Westminister bussed it up and changed the rule for voting Webern we had the Devolution vote.
