Hiya eds, Was wondering whats all this norovirus illness flying around?
You think it might be a laboratory test kind of thing?

{Ed033's Note - I'm sorry, I don't have enough info to make any determination. Seems to become active every december nowadays. It could be that this norovirus is always about but becomes activated (which affects humans) by the Sun each december at the moment.

It's originally known as Norwalk virus, which is apparently the original outbreak location in Connecticut in the 60's or 70's.
It's also known as the winter bug virus and is airborne which makes it particularly easy to catch especially when there is a lot of coughs and colds.
What is a similar and stranger virus is C. difficile colitis/ C Diff as it can survive in hospitals for weeks as spores and is most effective if someone has just had antibiotics as it can attack the system better. They could both be manufactured but some people have c diff naturally in the gut I think like many of us if have Staphylococcus aureus in our systems which if it becomes resistent to antibiotics then it is MRSA (I think).
My wife is a staff nurse so I get a bit of info on some nasties out there.

Supasub {Ed001's Note - C diff killed off me nan, we had to go to court to have the death certificate changed to mention that fact. Took 3 years to do so, but it begs the question how many others are dying/weakened by it that are never recorded. They wouldn't even tell us she had the bug in the first place, it is only that my cousin is a pharmacist and recognised the drugs they were giving her.}

Sorry to hear that ed, it must be rife as there is hardly anything that gets rid of it when cleaning apart from I think bleach which can't really be used everywhere and I think it's strange that its at its most dangerous when people have had antibiotics.. But like all these things many if us must be immune to some of these strains otherwise wed probably all get it. I think c diff can also be present naturally and carried in your gut without any effect.
On a lighter note, maybe we are below bacteria now and they have replaced us as the superior race?

Supasub {Ed001's Note - life is a circle mate, nothing is on top ever. I know we talk about top of the food chain, but there is no such thing really.}

I meant it to be tongue in cheek ed, I'm not even top of the food chain in my own home!
But your right on the full circle theory, taking bacteria into account they were probably one of the first living things on this planet and they could end up being the last.

Supasub {Ed001's Note - sorry mate, half asleep here, I should just check and post up what doesn't need replies when I am sleepy, I miss all the nuances, like the tongue in your cheek!}

I had it the other week, lasted about 12 hours and burnt itself out. There wasn't anything else left to chuck up. But i know people who had it the week before and were laid low for a couple of days or in 1 case for a whole week, so i guess it depends on how good your system is.

It makes you wonder what's in today's antibiotics when a virus is most dangerous when someone has had antibiotics. Is someone tampering with medicines to try and cause some sort of epidemic?

Just to clear things up a bit. Alot of antibiotics are 'broad-spectrum' i.e. they act against alot of bacteria, rather than targeting a single species. For certain infections, use of a broad spectrum antibiotics will actually kill off a significant proportion of your gut microflora. This in turn opens up a new environmental niche for bugs like C difficile (spore-forming bacterium) to occupy. This of course leads to all of the complications associated with C diff infection - highly pathogenic to the young, elderly, and immunocompromised. It is also difficult to treat due to resistance to many antibiotics of clinical importance (and the spores are quite robust and can withstand quite rigorous cleaning regimes.

{Ed033's Note - If you watched Part Four of the ET Elements of The Falklands War video about the intelligent nano black oil shown in the prometheus film being drilled for leading to the 2010 Gulf of Mexico disaster, then there was a reference in the video to a Nexus magazine article about alleged french embassy intelligence reports on the international activity around the disaster site. Makes you wonder what's happening with a lot of our other natural oil disasters. That was incredible!
We keep going back to what these film makers know that we don't.
Are the Jews that prominent in all of this? I mean they more or less run Hollywood and now their subs seem to have played a major part in what went down.
Keep up the great work Ed's and Happy New Year to all(now we made it! :))
Just reading Starchild Skull so opinion to follow.
