Hi all, i find it funny how there is suddenly no more reported news or updates on the French Alps shootings, again another convenience that the press just are no longer covering. How something can be in the news for so long and the suddenly just no longer be reported is beyond believe.
KevDarko

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Funny how at the time the press were told there was a strong indication that the motive was something to do with money from a blood relative and nearly a month or more later no charges made no press updates no nothing like kev says .
frankyscouse

Agree2 Disagree2

It was in the papers today and yesterday

Agree3 Disagree0

And what was the news?
frankyscouse

Agree2 Disagree3

That they are investigating a Swiss account.

Supasub

Agree3 Disagree0

Its a murder investigation, you can't expect it on the news every day. Its not like tv shows where its all wrapped up in a day or two. A lot of it is painstaking stuff trawling through phone records, bank records, cctv footage, talking to witnesses, checking them out, corroborating their stories, its long and dull.

Agree3 Disagree0

Agreed it painstaking going threw all there footage/witnesses/phone records etc etc they have to be thorough which makes it rather strange 24 hours after the murders that stories given to the press about it being a relative killing them over a money dispute ,sounds a bit of a knee jerk reaction and to my knowledge no one has been charged.

Just thought i'd alert people to the fact that the world has a new super-hero (or deluded fruitloop) in the guise of 'RED-EYE', the Runcorn vigilante. I seen a couple of reports in the local paper and thought it was kids making things up, but apparently not , basically he goes around with a mask with red eyes that are lit up and beats-up troublesome scally-wags. He is now on youtube, it's unintentionally funny and also a bit sad as i suspect he is no youngster and could all end in tears, or worse...

JR

Ps no it's not me .

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Well its better than old age pensioners getting beat up by a crank wearing a mask,gets a thumbs up from me.
frankyscouse

Agree10 Disagree0

Vigilantes wouldn't be needed if the police done there jobs properly. It's no good handing out badges of honour AKA ASBOs, coz lets face it , they don't work in the majority of cases. I agree with Franky, it's a thumbs up from me too.

Aaron

Agree5 Disagree1

I'm not saying these little scrotes don't need sorting out, just that this fella is obviously not the full shilling
and could be dangerous to someone innocent or
more likely himself .
JR

Agree3 Disagree1

I see where ur coming from JR, it's better having someone who isn't a full shilling doing the right thing rather than the wrong thing tho isn't it?

Aaron

Agree3 Disagree0

Yeah , i suppose you're right. The thing is he has
stole my thunder, i was about to don my cape-balaclava -mankini combo and rid the streets of crime myself = MIDLIFE CRISIS MAN !
I suppose i could be his side-kick.

JR

Agree3 Disagree0

Jr dont lie we know its you lol.
frankyscouse

Agree0 Disagree0

Goin for the SuperBorat look there JR haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Jr can you post a video link?

Agree1 Disagree0

Not the police's fault, its the PC human rights system {Ed001's Note - seriously? You don't think the police faking evidence, rather than finding the real criminals has in any way caused issues? You don't think the tendency to try and rely on the next to useless CCTV cameras, in preference to bobbys on the beat is an issue? You don't think the fact that they can't be bothered to investigate anything in case they have to do a bit of paperwork is an issue? You go to them with a clear cut case of fraud and they tell you it is nothing to do with them! They don't even know their own job! Perhaps they should spend less time smearing victims' families and more time in training?}

Agree1 Disagree1

I read that REDEYE hanged up his boots what a shame the guy deserves a medal i think its everymans dream to kick ass hahah

i watch a lot of the reality programs like ice road truckers/coal/gold rush etc etc and the amount of times new federal laws coming in like health and safety/documents they need to do this and that is ridiculousness,they are getting fined left right and center ,telling a coal prospector who has been digging for gold for 70 years boy to man that he needs to do this and that is a scandal,what made me laugh you get some government feller who is about 30 telling a expert about what he cant do and what he can do and billing him for the pleasure of the so called advice and some paperwork he now needs is a joke,they are squeezing the life out of hard working men who do put there lives on the line to make a few bob.
frankyscouse {Ed001's Note - I wouldn't take it that any of these 'reality' TV shows have any real basis in reality mate. The programme maker will want to show the subject of the show in a certain light, in the ones you are talking about, it is a case of showing them to be striving against legislation etc. The problem is that without the health and safety legislation, big businesses would just have continued to put their workers into danger with no cares about their welfare. Yes, there are times it goes too far, but don't believe the nonsense in the shows, it is just to get you to identify with the characters in them.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I get were your coming from edd tv show would not want to be associated for instance with a coal boss and a terrible accident happened which is down to a lack of safety precautions but i beg to differ this is like another way to tax these people, a bit like a legal mafia boss going in to a bar looking around and saying the bar needs the pipes cleaning and glasses washed and floors moped and dried before anyone gets in or it will be closed until we will bring a expert in to show you how to mop the floor, this expert will cost you 1 thousand pounds and the new documented papers you will need now will cost you 5 thousand pound each year from now on .
frankyscouse {Ed001's Note - I have worked in loads of different places and known plenty of bosses in others, never heard of anyone having to bring in an 'expert'. That's just rubbish, sorry.}

Agree0 Disagree0

So because its never happened to you its rubbish?and the term expert means its anything but a expert , its just a piece of paper saying your ok to go ahead for a fee to prove it.
frankyscouse {Ed001's Note - no, because it doesn't happen except on 'reality' TV. Go ask in any restaurant what happens if they fail health and safety tests. They get a written report of things to fix and a date to get them done by. If they aren't done the place is closed down. No 'experts' sent in, just straight closure until the issues are fixed. Those programmes are as much a pack of lies as any propaganda show.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I am not on about a run of the mill pub or restaurant my point is natural resources like gold/oil/coal are getting harder to run by families that have been doing it for generations because of the red tape and and bureaucracy.
frankyscouse {Ed001's Note - I would think it was more because now they have to pay fair wages and treat workers like human beings instead of slaves.}

Agree0 Disagree0

It may have been the case 50 years ago but you cant judge these new regulations on fair pay and treating them like slaves as they only get paid if they hit the oil or find the gold, to me its another way to tax them.
frankyscouse {Ed001's Note - they are big landowners with a long term history of exploiting workers and you want us to have sympathy with them?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well just to add to what franky is saying have any of use heard about the new law for lorrys over 7.5ton? you now need an extra license to drive one for a business and have enough funds in the bank to operate i think its 3grand you also have to have everthing inspected once a year so my question is what is the point? as a small business owner with small margin in profit this has the potential to be devastating and for what? you already spend thousands getting an hgv licence and psv
cantona's legal team

Agree0 Disagree0

I am not sticking up for big landowners,the new legal documents and permits will not effect them anyway, i am on about guys who run small operations to try to make a living which is not guaranteed anyway and the only reason they are prob letting the cameras on site is for a bit of extra revenue ,do you honestly think a big landowner would allow a camera and crew rolling around there operations?i dont think so.lets just say we agree to disagree.
frankyscouse

Agree0 Disagree1

Don't know much about it but was'nt that the reason the lorry driver's were striking a few month's ago. There won't be many dricer's with all licenses so they'll want paying extra for having them anyway. Also Ed is spot-on regarding health & hygeine, I have alot of dealing-s with them over the years and they are quite a lenient bunch, even the deadline they give you can be abused a bit....er...so I've been told.

Supasub

Agree0 Disagree0

Franky ya spot on again fella. I'm a truck driver and, like bus drivers, I have to do a driver CPC (Certificate of Proffesional Competance). This has been rolled out all across the EU. I paid a good few quid to earn my class 1 licence and these goons are basically making myself and other truck/bus drivers learn how to suck an egg. This is the biggest money spinner since religion. It's not a one off course either. It has to be done every 5 years and can cost upwards of 400 a throw and if you dont do it your hard earned and expensive licence gets suspended. Most companies pay for this but some don't. I only spend one day a year in a classroom and yea it's an easy day, but I would rather spend that day earning my wage as opposed to sitting bored shi*tless in a classroom. The EU government seem to have forgotten, without trucks you get nothing.

Aaron

Agree1 Disagree2

I can't see how someone can disagree with my comment. Would whoever disagreed care to elaborate why?

Aaron

Agree0 Disagree2

Aaron you always get muppets who disagree with anything anyone says . they tend to not reply in case it shows there lack of intelligence.
frankyscouse

Agree0 Disagree1

True that Franky. It's a shame that some people don't have the brains or the bottle for debate

Agree0 Disagree1

Was doing CPC last month and instructor was saying strong rumours that CPC would be stopped as other euro countries employers can't afford costs to implement.....course is a total waste of time/money, unions etc should have stopped this before employers/drivers lost money they could ill afford

Agree1 Disagree0

It shouldn't of started anyway. Its a massive slap in the chops for truck/bus drivers. The CPC course might get scrapped in other countries, not here tho. While we're all stupid enough to do it the government will certainly hold out their cap for us to fill.
