Can I post a link on here Ed to a video showing a strange object flying in the sky clearly caught disappearing and reappearing and changing direction at high speeds?

That is a really bizarre video. I'm not sure what it could be. It moves in a repetitive fashion, and seems to be particularly bright and a fair distance away. Not a plane obviously, and I don't think a helicopter too, as they tend to hover and not circle.

Really odd.

Agree Exotiva the speed of the movement means it surely couldn't be a plane or helicopter and although the movement is repetitive it seems to reappear in different poisitions everytime.

No problem Melbourne. A town not too far from my hometown is actually regarded as quite a hotspot for ufo activity and was where the ufo society of Ireland was founded. Numerous different reports of ufo sightings going back through the years and even reports of a covered up alien crash in the same town! Strange stuff indeed

Jack, I know Boyle is well known for UFO's but do you think it could be something like an RC aircraft? Do you have any idea about the size of the craft and the altitude? Is it towards Lough Key?

Well done jack reply with sarcasm. That will make it a ufo. If you look closely it looks like a bird circling. Most birds, especially birds of prey, are dark on top and light underneath. Camoflage. Hence it looks like its appearing then dissapearing.

 
A well done to you for employing the same tactic no name. If you take into account the distance away and the height and speed of the movement this bird of prey would have to be a quite substantial size? Also this video is taken in a pretty built up area which seems an unlikely hunting ground for them but I admit I don't know as much about them as you seem to so do you really think its plausible that this is a bird?
And Ryan this video was not taken near Boyle, different county infact. Have you read of the incident at Lough Key?

 
Just seen object, definitely not birds way to fast, definitely no plane or helicopter, good spot jack.

 
I'll tell you that it looks like lights being beamed up into sky in a circling motion. An example is from my town when a certain nightclub reopened it had these lights beaming up into sky I could see it right on other side of my town I took a video at time then I found out what it was I stopped thinking it was a ufo and then every weekend it came back in the skies as the club was open.

I can appreciate what you say as in my hometown (not the video) a nightclub employs the same tactic. Having seen that almost every weekened I can tell you it is not really the same as the one I used to see especially as this is in broad daylight in a town where there is certainly no nightclub that shines lights into the sky and after your post I have tried to think of any other establishment around that would do this but cannot?

Not saying that I know what it is, but could you see it with your eyes or did it only show up on the camera?

If it's only on camera it could be something in infrared as cameras can pick up those frequencies.
