{Ed033's Note - Before giving consent to have a new Digital radio frequency 'Smart' meter installed, it's important to watch the below documentary

Then you can go to the following web site for some solutions

Great link ed, thanks. Do you know of any links to template letters / emails that I can send to my utility company in the UK?

{Ed033's Note - There are 2 templates here:

http://www.takebackyourpower.net/news/2014/05/16/template-notice-demand-removal-2014/

These templates were written by a New York lawyer for people living in USA. If you're in UK, this appears to be too complicated at this stage, as what you're after in UK at the moment, is your energy supplier to agree with you (in writing) that they understand you non consent and won't be installing a new meter on your property you have possession of.

A simple NOTICE saying you don't give consent to them removing your existing meter. You do not give consent to them installing any new meter and they have 30 days to respond that they agree that they won't ever install a meter on you property while you're in possession of it may suffice at the moment.

If you can't get their agreement, then you know you're in a fight and you'll want to take a close look at the above templates (and alter it to suit you) and then get a notary public to witness your signature, if you think you're going to have to go to 'court' at some point in the future.

That's great, thanks ed
