different type of post here ,its about the kid with half a face that is on tv at the moment .

the remarks about the kid from katie hopkins are as ever making the headlines ,now I think hopkins has a dark soul and the world would be a better place without her.

but I can see a pattern playing out in the media ,the same media who give her tv shows and news column space.

like most reasons its done for a reason ,its done to outrage normal folk and want to gag her and people like her .

great you think?like it or not social media sites are a massive tool in today's generation ,its pretty much uncensored .
right now .

For every katie hopkins there are a 100 spreading real truth about taboo subjects .
in my opinion free speech should remain ,no matter how evil that women is.
but I am getting the vibe she is allowed to say the stuff she says,

so a few years down the line anything said about a blair/bush/putin could mean your views will be censored and we lose the real meaning of free speech.

Freedom of speech doesn't exist. But I agree, it will be totally wiped out one day

Totally agree. We constantly hear talk of the dangers of social media surrounding harassment etc. you can clearly see which way this is going - not only will they bring in laws to control what we say but also the 90% who are worse than sheep will lap it up and say it's a good thing because they've been manipulated to think so!

I remember them discussing the additional spying laws which were being drafted on Question Time last year - there were people coming out with comments like "well they obviously will only use the powers when there is a real threat" or "I'm happy for them to see my records as I have nothing to hide".
It's incredible the level of ignorance among those who count themselves as educated (because they read the likes of bbc news and the daily mail!)
