Anyone fans of the matrix? The matrix is an unbelievable film especially as it described the real society we were living in ultimately. I'd urge you to watch it
The actual creator was Sophia Stewart, a black woman not the Wachowski Brothers. They stole her entire concept from "the third eye" which she created. The oricle (black woman) in the film, the mother of the matrix was based on her to add insult to the wound. Disgraceful in itself because imo its a truly incredible film and she deserved her kudos. I believe she won her court case against the Wachowski Brothers.

You hear journalists and people who's awake constantly referencing us to living in the matrix. This woman wrote this brilliant and eye opening concept in 1980!
She also wrote the terminator . Again her concept stolen. James Cameron is a fraud but that's another story. She should be a house hold name and you can take a few guesses to why she's not. She's the real genius.

{Ed033's Note - Originally, Sophia Stewart was going to sue for $2 billion, i don't think she got that. The first Matrix film was really good.

America filmmakers are notorious for robbing ideas with not one ounce of credit to the original idea.
Lucy was a rip of anime elfen lied
Pacific rim was a rip of neo genesis evangelion
Chronicle was an Akira rip

Hunger games and divergent been done lots in Korean and Japanese films.

I still haven't got round to watching the matrix (I know) because as far as far out stories go I will know I have seen it covered in one of the many anime/ manga I have watched/ read

Appleseed is worth a watch.

There's a youtuber by the name of Ron Johnson he touches on the subject do we live in the matrix, mostly conspiracy and speculation but very entertaining I would recommend checking his channel.

the first matrix was really good but as it progressed it evolved into a religious message by the end. but still all good to watch when nothing is on.

I felt the Matrix movies were over rated. Keanu Reeves may as well be a plank of wood, he'd have more personality.
