Seen it every day of my life growing up ed. Believe me they do and get away with a lot worse than that mate. I guarantee that officer will be back at work within 2 weeks.

I can remember a time when I would see this regularly.
And have this aimed at me manly in frustration.
In the end the best way to sort it would be.
Stand your ground and carmly as possible.
state that if he want's to be a thug drop his belt and vest and radio and go toe to toe .
See who you are really without the badge belt and force behind you.
If he threatens u with false charges he ain't serving or protecting.
shouldn't be in that position of power in first place.
Sometimes violence ain't a option or shouldn't be.
But this is what will happen when they think they get away with anything .
By doing video and reporting it he will only get suspended.
And return.
By standing your ground u make that copper think twice before he makes same mistake.

Just got to be willing to bite bullet for actions after lol.
Still hurts but least u can take a real charge not made up one.
