Can any of you guys programme java script? Just looking for a basic website. I could probably do it myself but would be nice to have help from someone withe experience. Sm or 33 ?

This site comes with good reviews and has Free JavaScript courses just sign up with an email to save your progress and work on your skills as and when you have the time. There are of course other alternatives.

Hope this is the kind of thing you are looking for.

Not as yet, I don't use the room with leaks and haven't turned the boiler on and won't until it's serviced. The landlord seems to be dragging his heels in the hope I will move on but if he wants me out he can do it legally. I've been there for years and rent is always on time and well looked after so he can do the right thing himself. How's your situation? Did you resolve the mould ?

Mould issue's are ongoing but apparently in the process of being sorted so I am told haha. I am more concerned about not having a water supply for the least few days. I am glad I brought a distiller as I am using a tub of rainwater from the last few weeks. I wouldn't drink it otherwise lets just say that. All good fun and have a whole new appreciation of things.

Peteprice, wouldn't a basic web site be coded in HTML not Javascript? What Client-side interaction do you need with visitors to your web site?

Ed33, to be honest I'm a complete noob in terms of setting up a website but I'm looking at uploading a 10k nft art collection for a random mint so would need to add a wallet connect and the ability to mint from the site. So far in going off YouTube videos but I'd be willing to pay for someone with the ability to create the site for me within reason

{Ed033's Note - Doesn't sound like a "basic website" to me. Sounds like you might want to get a quote off someone. There is a bigger "audience" on the liverpool-rumours.co.uk site.

You could obviously google bespoke website designers but it tends to be in the thousands of pounds.

Alternatively you could try a freelance site such as 'fiverr' which have many options for what you need, usually at a much more competitive price than you'd find elsewhere.

I have used 'fiverr' before and have been very happy with the result. If you pick someone you like the sound of, just tell them what you want and they will give you a quote.

I hope people have contacted claims solicitors over their rental properties? The courts rarely side with the landlord these days, if the property isn't in a habitual condition. Don't quote me but I believe you are entitled not to pay rent, until remedial work is completed? Anyone want the name of an expert solicitor in this field, let me know.?

I have made a claim against my housing association for lost/damaged property but the cause of mould needs to be found. They basically want to make sure it is not due to me I guess but I can not see how it is my fault?.

Also, due to my circumstances, which has swallowed me up in the benefits system, the council pay the entirety of my rent so I am not actually losing out, so to speak.

Personal factors aside, I feel very fortunate TBH and I don't want to rock the boat too much as without their help I would be in a right mess. Mould is under control as far as I am aware and I love my home which is situated in a very beautiful, peaceful little village on the south east coast, so I don't want to do anything to jeopardise and lose it.

Basically I will play their game and see what comes of it. If it is not an amicable resolution then that is when the monkey will come out to play ???.
