lads any suggestions on filters that fit on to the sink and filter the water as the tap is on.

{Ed032's Note - Hey, United ireland. I haven't forgotten about you and you mum.

I have had a look around at vapes, CBD ones mainly, and I believe it is in your hands to choose a source that YOU trust. I would have to take a leap of trust with what is said to give you a source and I believe you are a great soul to do that yourself. I wouldn't be able to suggest anything, or source, that you would not be able to yourself. I would only be a secondary source you would have to put faith in to find a trust worthy source and I feel that is just adding to the amount of trust needed.

I do think a CBD vape may help your mum. Cannabis is an amazing plant and as long as you go organic and have ALL the ingredients shown to you, you have to take a bit of a leap in trusting them.

I do not know the long term effects of vaping but I do know that it is not as harmful as tobacco smoke. I have vaped before and my lungs have been thankful.

I brought a really expensive cannabis vaper a few years ago and it just gave me nothing other than frustration TBH. Destroyed the herb and I had very little effect compare to a blunt.

I don't condone smoking. I love the herb but I am yet to find a way to medicate it in a controllable fashion such as burning it.

Eating it, your liver changes the compounds into much more Psychoactive elements which causes a 'trip'. Whatever you eat, you've eaten, enjoy the ride or not. Smoking it is controllable. You do what you need to to get the effect wanted. It is very helpful with pain and also, state of mind.

I have made suggestions over how to get better sleep , but if I haven't given enough information please let me know and I will help more.

I genuinely hope you help your mum get over the tobacco addiction and she is able to get proper sleep. That is really important.

I haven't stuck a pin in this subject. I will continue to help find options for you. Keep us in the loop and I wish you the best success, mate. ✌?

On your above post, you can buy carbon filters but I really would suggest investing in a distiller. There is the reverse osmosis option but from what I know they are much more expensive and I feel they don't purify to the level distilling does.

I would suggest contacting your local water board and ask them to give you a datasheet showing exactly what is in the water they supply you. This should be quite easy. Then you know where you stand.

Maybe also look at tracking down a water spring that is local to you and get your drinking water from that. The Earth bids you know harm, the water springs up out of the ground when it is ready to be drunk.

Much love to you and yours, mate. Stay well.

I've just ordered the skuma ro unit which you then re mineralise with their infusions was on offer and able to use split it for interest free instalments. I'm hoping it's enough to purify the tap water

{Ed032's Note - Hi, p1. They are good and I know of people that use them. They are not as expensive to run as a distiller, either.

With all that's going on nowadays, you can't trust the water from a random water spring is drinkable straight from the spring. You would at least want to test it first.

{Ed032's Note - Good point. Thanks, Ed033.

{Ed032's Note - Awesome, United ireland. And is it helping your mum? ?

And yes, cannabis edibles are pretty full on. Especially when you get impatient and the cakes are tasty. Haven't gone near them for 20 years or so. I'd probably ne tempted if someone came in the room with a plateful of freebies though. ?

I am sure there are springs that are clean, but Ed033 was right to comment to say test it first.
