What the hell is going on in Turkey? A bill proposed to allow child rapists to marry the victim and be pardoned was stopped for now. How on earth did the bill even get that far!

Don't mean it in a bad way neither have I got anything against Muslims. There prophet married a 6 year old and done the dirty when she was 9. Muslims probably take there religion more serious than any other religion, to them Mohammed is a role model they think hees beautiful and perfect. Imo Islam is an outdated religion (like most) . However they still follow there old traditions. Therefore a percentage of Muslims wouldn't see nothing wrong with child marriage because there prophet did it.

Big Al, a question if I may. Genarlow Wilson, a student in the USA, was sentenced to 11 years in jail and life on the sex offenders register because he received oral sex from a 15 year old girl when he was 17. Do you think this punishment was appropriate? I certainly don't.
If you don't either then you have some common ground with the authors of this bill, it was designed to protect consenting and committed youths from being charged with statutory rape.
Rightly, the population of Turkey pointed out that such a bill could be used to protect child molesters and promote the practice of taking child brides and so it was rejected. The intent of the author can be understood and the reactions of the Turkish people can be praised.

I'd suggest you have a look into Rape cases in Turkey and the age of the men and victims/ children. Your example is an isolated case and you're fully aware is represents a microscopical percentage.
It was not designed to protect consent between youth. Why do you think there was such an outcry to such a bill? Why did erdogan ensure the imprisonment of former Miss Turkey for posting a poem that apparently criticises him? Why did he state women are not equal to women? Man wake up. It's becoming an Islamic state.

Al, ed do you think Iran would be an oil job or an attempt on irans central bank or even a mix of the two there's plenty of incentive to take Iran.

1. Place a western puppet as leader
2. Place a central bank in Iran so they can bankrupt Iran with huge loans
3. Grab the oil or any other mineral wealth
4. Grab any ancient secrets / technology from museums or anywhere else (like they did with the Baghdad museum)
5. Explore any ancient sites for secrets / technology (that they have already, deep Earth scanned, from satellites)
6. Try to get millions of Iranian people to go into Europe as refugees to help ruin Europe
7. Fire off huge amounts of Uranium weapons there
8. Ultimately hand over Iran to Israel so it can eventually be part of 'Greater Israel'

I agree edd. On war however he has to put his foot in. Starting another war in Iran and then possibly Russia is disastrous. Iran is in no way perfect but destroying Iran will just cause more worldwide problems.
{Ed033's Note - yes, Russia has said they will defend Iran and as they have defended Syria, it's likely that Russia really mean they will defend Iran.
Trump has to realise that he can only delegate so much to others and so in order to avoid any swapping of warheads, Trump and Putin would need to agree on Iran before it would get out of hand.

There's been plenty of laws and sick things that have slipped under the radar. For example, are you aware of the law passed in Canada where humans can carry out sexual acts with animals?
The agenda is slow but happening. Little by little they will carry out their sick work. They're hardly going to pass a law tomorrow that says pedophiles are committing no crime.
They will gradually pass through laws that allow certain acts, will word things that confuse people and create loopholes. For example, pedophiles go to a "mental institution" for six months or whatever. Things that will not deter these sick human beings.

The punishing religious liberties will only apply to Christianity. You won't see Muslim bakers sued like Christian bakers. There's a clear incentive to destroy Christianity. Has been for decades.
