Solar panels should be compulsory. Before anyone says there pricy I think most of the costs should be met by the energy companies from their huge profits.

 
What a good idea, one which would make perfect sense if only the power companies were run for our benefit (as they should be) rather than for profit.

In LA they are taxing people who have got solar panels.

 
I'm sure if they were run for our good we'd have had solar panels 50 years ago along with Tesla's power domes.
