Hey all, don't often post but any one have any idea why we don't hear about global warming any more? 5-10 years ago that's all that we would ever hear.

Ok thanks ed. so in your opinion is the climate not getting a lot warmer? And why would it be something that would be made up?

{Ed001's Note - the climate alters all the time, it is a natural process, but they wanted to frighten us into making changes that make big corporations more money. Did you know that in Roman times the extreme north of England (Northumberland) was so hot in summer that the Romans used to have it as a major producer of grapes? It is not hot enough in modern times to do so. It was always going to eventually heat up again, and the seas rise with it. It is a long process over hundreds or even thousands of years.}

 
Oh I see. Yeah it makes sense what you say. I was watching a programme on extreme weather and it was going back hundreds of years and kind of suggesting it goes in cycles, so that's what made me ask the question. And didn't know that no. Thanks

{Ed001's Note - the thing is that these days scientists are so specialised in their particular field that they often aren't clued up on any other aspects. Hence why all these dire warnings came out about global warming, that soon got changed to climate change when it was pointed out that it wasn't actually warming up! They had found they could make so much more out of us by selling us things to prevent global warming, that they can continue to frighten us into buying to prevent climate change. Such as electric vehicles, when the materials in the batteries are mined in a process that causes more harm to the environment than every gas guzzling car on earth put together. They put the prices up on oil with frighteners about how it is running out, even though it isn't and even if it was, we can make perfectly good fuel oil from plant crops such as rape seed. That is why the government subsidised the rape seed crops in the first place. If you are frightened of something, not only will you do as you are directed in order to stay safe, but you will also pay through the nose for it too. Big business knows this, so they play on it by sponsoring scientific studies, which just happen to conclude things that help increase their profits.}
