Another school shooting in Oregon! Another false flag? Or Legitiment shooting this time?

I see everyone wanting to ban guns in the US, bad idea for me, guns don't shoot people, people shoot people. What's the best he was using some pharmaceutical drug? Banning guns would just take the guns off the good people.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was false flag

{Ed033's Note - have to wait and see the anomalies that come out.

I don't see the need to own an automatic rifle or machine gun. Hand guns, shot guns and rifles fair enough. I can use two of these myself.

Bad idea? explain. Why d'you need one in the first place.

{Ed033's Note - People usually want a gun to protect themselves.

Why would a good person want a gun? Strange post.

{Ed033's Note - i get what you mean, Hazard54

Some people feel the need to have one for protection. As I said I can see the need for something like a handgun. Or people in the countryside something like a shotgun or rifle.

But machineguns? Not at all.

What I mean is I do believe that there should be restrictions, such as

1. One hand gun for one person, no more, and no automatic weapons as Kim says

2. Was talking to my dad so this information may be incorrect, but he told me there's a country / was a country (can't remember which one) who made sure when you bought the gun, you had scans done, pictures taken ect I think that could go along way to stopping some amount of shootings

I've always been under the impression Americas problem is cultural , not the guns.

Although, I really do not know how to solve their problem, they're in a tough predicament

i would like to hear ed002's thoughts on this subject for obvious reasons.

{Ed002's Note - My preference would be to ban guns across the US. The rules vary state by state about what can be owned, when and where guns can be carried, etc.. There is a small town in Georgia called Kennesaw where owning a gun is mandatory. Idiots like the NRA will continue to fight to folks freedom to be stupid.}

yes Kennesaw sounds a strange place , if the ban was successful which I doubt hopefully cops would not carry guns but I doubt that would happen as well.

cheers for the reply.

{Ed033's Note - It's pretty easy to work out. The US Federal government is run by the ruling class. As the ruling class do not have the best interests of the people at heart, whatever the government attempts to do is wrong for the people.

It's the same with political correctness, which is something promoted by governments (at the behest of the ruling elite, so therefore you'd be aiding the ruling class by going along with political correctness. It appears that if you're brainwashed, you can't work this out.

Given the high crime rates as a woman I can see the point in having some protection at home.

Just don't see the point of being able to walk into a shop and 10 minutes later walk out with an armalite with barely any checks. Ok can still kill with a hand gun but compared to an assault rifle.

I lived just outside Kennesaw for several years and this kW always confuses me. It was a pretty upmarket place too

Sorry posted in a hurry. I went to uni just outside of Kennesaw and was aware of this law. The thing that concerned me wasn't just the law but the belligerent belief that the 2nd amendment was the most important of all rights. From what I recall of my constitutional history classes it is the right to bear arms in the face of tyranny.

To make a mandatory law dictating the possession of anything is in the extreme but this one was always a cause for concern to me. Especially as I knew several 'Good Old Boys' who despite wealth were not playing from a full deck and would not hesitate to shoot first and ask questions later ala Trayvon Martin.
