They fake zero G using zero g planes, but they only have about 40 seconds to film on the zero G plane. So a short video needs multiple takes of 40 seconds. Watch the takes to see how they fake spinning objects without using CGI.

Hi Ed033, would all employees of NASA be aware of what’s going on and have to sign NDAs? Just trying to consider what would be required to pull off such large scale trickery without it leaking out that fakery is occurring.

{Ed033's Note - No, ex Nasa employees who have woke up now who have been interviewed just say they turned up to work and worked at their job and thought everything was real. They are so compartmentalised they don't know what other employees are doing.

If you're at NASA working on computer simulations or are putting some components together, at the end of the day, you go home and then at some point you watch a rocket launch on T.V. and think it's all real.

Only certain people at NASA know it's all fake. The people at the top and Astronauts who get picked, realise they didn't get into the Rocket that was launched.

Because there is so much simulating going on, people don't know whether it's a real launch or a simulation they're working on. Maybe the CGI people think they're working on simulations and think the real launches are all real.

Thanks Ed, that makes sense.
