If we take the bible literally and assume Eden existed then wouldn't it have been wiped out by the great flood? If we're still taking it literal.

I think the Younger Dryas hypothesis can cover much of the Bible stories personally. If you want to know more, then you can find quite a few 3 hour podcasts with Randall Carlson, Robert Schoch, Graham Hancock and a few others, which go into great detail on the theory.

He's been on the Joe Rogan Experience about 6 or 7 times, I believe this was his second solo appearance on there:

If you use the book of Genesis that a place called Eden existed then you also have to use Genesis as evidence of the flood. And the biblical account states that the water covered all of the mountains. This should also include Eden.
