Something for anyone that is paying bed room tax! If you have lived in the same house for more than 17 years and always claimed benefits there's a law in place that makes you exempt from bedroom tax! People are getting full refunds on what they have paid if they can prove the above! My friend is one of them! There's talks of them removing this loop hole so if you fall in the above book to see your local C.A.B. ASAP! My friends due to receive over £800 in back payments! Just thought I'd share the love! :)

Good to know mate, does not effect me with having kids but another ploy to make it harder for the poorest is the cut backs on the c. a. b, they have helped me in the past and they will not have the funding to continue meaning to get any type of advice you would have to pay knowing fair well that the poorest will have the funds to see if they are eligible for any type of benefit, speaking from experience my mum had to give up her job because her arthritis, she had to claim benefits, she was getting a pittance and not once did the social security say listen you might be entitled to A B or C, they left her to struggle on it was only for a relative and me and my sister to persuade her that she might be entitled for a disability benefit that she seen the c. a. b, he reassured her that its her right to claim the extra supplement , soon that will be gone and it makes me angry.

Some people need to claim benefits even if they work due to low incomes, not saying that you don't have cases of someone is sat on their backside for that long however problem is when other benefit claimants get tarred with the same brush, I am fortunate and have never had to claim any benefits however for those who need help and work hard then I don't have a problem with it, the bedroom tax is a decent idea just implemented wrong, if it was for new claimants only and they lived in an area where housing available with the correct number of rooms then yes they should pay, but I do not favour forcing people out of a home they have lived in for years or having to pay because there are no suitable properties.

Unless your disabled or retired there is no need for anyone to be on long term benefits. Street where I live is filled with slappers who left school at 14 to have a kid and 20-30 years later have never been to work. And some people wonder why some of us have had enough of spongers. Sick of seeing some people get everything for nothing whilst those of us that work have to struggle to make ends meet. Proper socialism doesn't mean dumping millions on benefits and leaving them there. The truth of the matter is the welfare state is crippling the country and it needs reigning in before it pushes us under. I have no problem with people in genuine need of help, but no one should spend a lifetime on benefits. If you can work you should work.
5.) Bedroom tax is a scam, not enough 2 bedroom homes all over the uk making people move into flats then they will sell council homes to the private sector, as for danny and the unnamed poster one word "sheep"
6.) Why am I a sheep, Franky? I know full well that there are people who are unable to work through no fault of their own, and it is right that they are looked after by the state. Everything has to be paid for somehow, and a tax by any over name is still a tax- a necessary evil. Why is someone seen as a sheep or less intelligent than the regular posters on here just because you have a different view point on some subjects? The whole point of debate is to have two sides, and not resort to name calling or abuse.

Actually I don't read newspapers. I outlined my view perfectly well. I fail to see why some people sit on the dole for 20 years when their are jobs out there. The Poles don't have any trouble finding jobs. As myself and Danny said we have no issue in helping people who genuinely need help. But too many take the piss and are out for what they can get. But saying it makes me a sheep? If you have to resort to personal attacks and arguments you know you have lost the argument.

To put this clearly they are targeting everyone on benefits, the scrounges as you put it are a tiny fraction research has been done by various studies and at the most it is about 3% of people claiming welfare are abusing it, the rest get tarred with the same brush, people all over the UK with disabilities are being forced to look for Work, around three thousand people have already committed suicide, oh by the way the agency that are checking if people claiming benefits like the sick are done why a agency hired by the government called atos funny enough headed by a feller called Rothschild, I am sorry you take offense to the sheep jibe, but I get the impression you see all these tv shows showing how they abuse the system you might even know people but what the reality is the main culprits are the suits in corporations and the richest who continuously get away with it, have you ever seen a show about bankers living the high life as they repossess holmes? Ever seen a fly in the wall about major corporations coining excess profits as they up the prices of there brand?no you won't because what you see on tv and the news is propaganda plain and simple!

The fact I pay tax which goes to the government which a small percentage goes to welfare only for them to claw most of that back through stupid taxes! All I am saying is how is it right that some people can spend most of their life in benefits when they are physically and mentally capable of going to work. I know of 3 examples in my street alone and another dozen on the estate who have never done a days work in their lives. How is that right? As I keep saying I have no issue with genuine people but I dispute this 3% figure of Frankyscouser. Look at how many people were on benefits in 1997 and compare it to 2010. Discounting the increased number if penshioners due to the baby boom its still a huge rise. Why?

As you put it once you start personal attacks you've lost the argument! Also who are we to decide if some one is physically or mentally able to work? My friend is physically well but due to being in the army suffers with severe anxiety and agropobia! to me and you he is just a normal everyday guy but to his doctors and close friends who know the real truth he has issues that stop him from working! How do you decide a person is fit for work? The fact they can walk, talk do everyday jobs around the house does not make someone fit to work!

RR so what would you call someone with 4 kids by 4 different men by the time their 25? I stand by what I said. I feel for your friend but that's a different case, he has had professional medical help, such people should be supported. I have not said once that people with genuine issues should not be supported. I just question how people are allowed to sit on benefits their whole lives and their children follow suit. Or people who claim to have disability but get caught out.
Frankyscouser. Is there any such thing as an independent organisation? They all have their agendas and statistics can be fiddled any such way to prove any point. I have seen nothing on the unreported 3000 suicides because as you say it has not been reported, and I do not watch the daily propaganda reports anyway. If so many have occurred then that is tragic, but is suicide ever truly the answer.

Frankyscouser so sorry I forgot your other question, alas old age is catching up with me. Why am I not angry with the fraudsters who run things? O but I am angry, I'd like nothing more than to see the whole thieving, lying, murderous lot put up against the nearest wall and shot. But it'll never happen because the English have mo stomach for revolution. Bankers, lawyers, politicians, all got things so screwed so that they only ever win. Of course I am angry. But nothing ever changes. I did think that maybe we were finally seeing the death throes of capitalism but it looks as if once again it pulls off the great escape. So long as people have their little comforts, cheap drink, the x factor, the corrupt soccer, they are happy. The elite know this. There is a lot to get angry about in this country it is hard to know where to begin. Certainly the act of dehumanising people by reducing them to subsistence on state subsidies should be one of them no? Where is the satisfaction of a good days labour to provide for yourself and family. You call that living slumped infront of the person box, drinking and smoking all day. The great man once wrote each according to their needs, what would he say today. This isn't socialism. We should all be uniting to get rid of the oppressors, this cannot happen whilst large parts of the people are enslaved to benefits. Benefits was just another trick to divide the proletariat and turn us on each other, and it has worked splendidly. This prevents us from rising to overthrow the shackles. Now the oppressors have realised they have gone too far with it and over committed too much money to keeping the people subservient. The crisis they created has shown them that the books do not balance, now they are trying to cut it back, and once again they have divided us. This debate has shown us this. People nowadays have forgone all pride, slaving their lives away for what can only be described as scraping by.
Our fault is considering that as living. Scraping by is surviving, whereas living is prospering.
Granted, some cannot easily quit their jobs because of family obligations.
However, blaming people on benefits for the grievance that slaving creates, shows a lack of understanding as to how the establishment functions.
We have produced and created so much since the beginning of this latest civilization. Where has it all gone? Who is benefiting from all that?
There is so much wealth produced every single day, but it never trickles down from those that manage it to those that produce it.
There is enough food produced to feed the world twice over, yet more than 80% of the people of this planet are living in relative poverty.
The billions that people receive in benefits all over the world (accounting for "aid" that never makes it to the people), is nothing compared to all that missing wealth no one is forced to account for.
I previously posted on the issue of unemployment and its still on the politics page, so I am not going to repeat all that.
We are though at a point where the concepts of benefits and unemployment are being employed against us, to prevent us from realizing what is really going on and to create tension amongst us.
The establishment wants us at each others throats as that takes the spotlight off them.
Imagine a world, where all are unemployed and automated machines handled all the labor.
Where all benefited from the resources of this planet and from the creations of generations passed.
A world in which people did not obsess over fruitive action but explored what they loved and shared any fruits from that work freely with everyone.

To whoever wrote that the welfare system is what's bringing this country to its knees, NO! It's the interest the banks charge our country on top of the debt were already due out. I don't know the exact figure but it's obviously billions.
And a small point: Enough of the ridiculous patter. Just because people don't type properly doesn't mean they can't if they have to. They might just choose not to.
I know my language was harsh but it's so annoying living with all these asleep clowns. It would be so easy to have a revolution and make our United Kingdom great again. Unfortunately it would take a violent rebellion as the powers that be obviously laugh their heads off when they see people out with posters and planks of wood lol.
We'll be living in a world government with a population of 1billion by 2050 the way were heading. Some of you may be too old for that too truly effect, but think about your descendants! I've been watching and reading a lot of stuff on Roswell! Would love to go there and visit and see the places for myself! What are peoples thoughts on roswell? Me I'm a firm believer something happened that changed the course of history not only in terms of the way government deal with things but also the technological advances we have made in home electronics but also in weaponry! What I give to have been in Roswell in 1947 to see it for myself!
{Ed001's Note - the only problem with that theory is that the Nazis had most of those technological advancements under development, either prior to or during the Second World War. They had working flying wings, for instance, which the US was unable to figure out during the 1950s, despite access to bits and pieces of the work that had been undertaken at the behest of the Nazis. I have often wondered if the truth is more prosaic, that it was just a testbed for captured tech and one piece crashed?}

Oh and in history, each civilization was distinct and shielded from each other's ideas. They were unable to share and work together in the way we can now, which is why tech advances so quickly. Plus there was little need to develop most of the things we had until recent times. Why would a farmer need to phone the other side of the world in the 18th century when they knew no one there?}

I have never been convinced by the stories from Philip Corso and the like that such technologies like fibre optics, circuit chips, kevlar, night vision etc have come from alien technology. Aliens that may be thousands or millions of years advanced from light years away/other dimensions would still be using this technology! Nope can't have it. While I am an avid believer in aliens and visitations/government knowledge I firmly believe that in some circumstances and technological advances we do a lot of brilliant human minds a big disservice. Just my opinion.

Valid points edd I just think it is no coincidence that these alleged sightings and events that we would not use it, we all have the mental image of a little grey alien, in the 1980s I think we cloned a sheep and probleary doing the same to humans now. I do not think we could have got that far without steering in the right direction and to be honest mate I think we have seen a tiny fraction of reversed engineering made public, all the good stuff is kept.

Also, just because they are going public for money and fame, it doesn't necessarily mean they are lying or not worth listening to. For instance, in my opinion Jesse Ventura is just interested in making money out of whatever he does, but still there are things he has to say which are worth listening to. The problem is in picking out the good bits from the crap. After all, the CIA teach their agents to surround disinformation with as much truth as possible, because you need to have facts that can be checked to make the lies believable. Just doing a bit of reading up on Fukishima and can't believe we are having a media black out when things are getting worse day by day! Reports I've read is that parts of Fukishima are turning up on beaches in California! A scientist saying that he thinks everyone in Japan will die due to this and half of america will have to leave due to radiation.

What's happening with Fukushima?! Anyone explain, why can't they stop it, or are they letting it happen?

3.) It's more to do with how TEPCO have been dealing with it! If reports are true they advised to simply get rid of the nuclear waste by pumping it into the ocean! Because the gulf stream it has made its way across to America! There are reports from the navy saying the ocean is dead! One sailor sailed 3000 nautical miles without seeing a single living thing! One Japanese scientist said when you think of Chernobyl times that by 20,000 and that's probably where we are at now! But still media black out! The only news station reporting this is RT! People saying TEPCO are simply trying to duck tape up the problems! Things will get a lot worse as its at a stage now where it can't be stopped! It can be managed but the damage 3 years on will never be repaired! All things put in place to slow this down have failed so far! I think they've left it way to long! This thing is scary and could potentially hurt the entire northern hemisphere!

It is claimed they could not stop the leak and radiation is still pouring in the ocean, the head of states al over the world know about it and have kept quiet simply because it would cause a panic and no one would be buying anything that was in that ocean, so they all keep stum, I am a tuna lover but I have swerved it as most off tuna comes from there, no wonder the amount of new diseases that are being found, they are literally dumping all toxic crap anywhere and killing us.

Governments are making out this is under control so people continue there daily lives without thought but this thing will come to a head soon and they will have no choice but to report this but that could be too late! people thinking this won't effect us are so so wrong! Because of the gulf stream, heavy winds, contaminated animals this has probably already had a detrimental effect on the northern hemisphere! People need to wake up! If there was ever a time to believe the powers that be hide the truth from you this is it!

Potassium iodide tablets have sold out in America already which means people understand the severity of the issue the problem is who's bought all this up? My thoughts is the general public have probably bought some but the majority would have gone to military and high ranking officials and people in power. Wow can't believe Godfrey Bloom is not being charged for his foreign aid 'Bongo Bongo land' comment. If someone on Facebook or twitter can be charged with racist comments then how is a member of parliament be any different? This doesn't help people trust politicians it only widens the gap of them and us!

8.) Listening to Alex Jones the other night and he was talking about how common phrases used in the workplaces in the US can no longer be used like 'brown bagging it' when referring to lunch! There were other phrases which are now deemed racist and unacceptable in the workplace over there which require a history lesson to explain how they may be deemed politically incorrect!

Well it shows you how long this stuff is happening, I went to school were we had a blackboard and there was a gollywog and I grew up in a multi racial area of toxteth, to me this is to conquer and divide people, it was not perfect back in those days but you generally knew who was a racist now its bloody hard with all of this politically correct phrases, I call a spade a spade phrase will probably get you sacked now or questioned, the worlds gone mad.
10.) In Toxteth Franky? I got shot at in Toxteth 2 years ago. I only left the hotel for a kebab haha. But on the whole politically correct thing, I hate it and refuse to keep the things I have to say quiet just because it may offend someone who isn't from here. I mean a woman got sacked because she refused to take off her crucifix as it may offend muslims (these muslims are covered head to toe in a black cloths btw, only showing there eyes). She worked in an airport. I refuse to live in a world like that and I tell younger family members the same!

Anyone ever heard of immortal technique! He's a rapper that raps about conspiracys and how the whole world is corrupt! He doesn't charge for his albums there free to download and although I'm not into rap it's a good listen!
1.) Yeh mate he done a great interview with alex jones and I have downloaded his album it's free off itunes, a mate off here and twitter gave me the heads up about him, so ty dannny.
2.) Listening to underground hiphop brought me here a few years ago hence the name jedimindtricks, there conspiracy talk is one of the reasons we will never see them on tele here some people might actually learn somthing. Lowkey is another very good artist these people put there words first and there money second witch is the way it should be.

5.) I always wondered that with your sign off Jedi. Vinnie Paz came to Melbourne a couple of years ago and a female mate of mine went back to his hotel and some others. Said he was one of the most down to earth, laid back person she has ever met. Some other chick in the hotel room asked if he always brings groupies back and he kicked her out for being disrespectful.
My mate is still in e-mail contact with him and he has even offered for her to come to Philly and eat his mums Italian. He calls her his little sister. I was blown away when she told me all this and backed it up with the e-mails. People like Vinnie, Immortal and Lowkey (who a mate who just got back from London turned me onto) aren't it in for fame. It's all about the messages behind the songs.

7.) I recommend getting some of his earlier albums Frankie. Revolutionary Vol 2 is an absolute beast of a record. He was one of the first to do what he does, and get recognition world wide. If anyone hasn't heard the track Dance With the Devil, I recommend giving it a listen. A pretty dark track but it gives you an idea of his lyrical ability. Also Peruvian Cocaine pretty much breaks down how coke gets from the cocoa farmers in South and Central America into the US.
I looked up that Curtis Warren bloke, and going to the gym won't be doing you any favours of dropping the lookalike tag mate ;-)

8.) Come to think of it Dance with the Devil probably isn't the best track for any newcomers wanting to hear his music. Harlem Streets would be a lot more relevant to this page.

10.) Thats incredible melbourne! He has always came across that way a very humble guy who has thrived in the struggle, she is one lucky person that right there is a dream of mines! I actually have a savings fund that i'm toping up every now and then to go over to philly and see them in there back yard, when I lost my job my kid roughly the same time normal music didn't do it for me I needed somthing with meaning and these guys opened my eyes truely grateful for that, lowkey is a great artist all his songs have a message about them he's fighting for what he beileves in and I have to admit i'm with him on it its horrible what's happening over sea's, knowing you guys are listening to this aswell is great I try to get as many people as I can to listen but never drill it into there heads they usually learn thereselfs in time

11.) Just listened to immortal technique in the gym and he's songs are deep loved ultimas palabras its more like a martin luther king speech than a song, plus the martyr, mark of the beast and rich mans world (1%} he sounds a very very intelligent man, pity there are not more artist like that.
12.) Sorry to hear about your loss Jedi. These guys are so real in the way they rap, I'm not surprised at all that you felt a connection to them. I know when I lost a close mate a couple of years ago, these guys music was definately something that helped me come to terms.
Vinnie Paz - Same Story was a track I wouldve played over 100 times. We ended up playing it at his funeral. Definately helped me understand that others know what it feels like to lose someone you love.

Just things I've read and seen documentaries on Ed! There's a book called the day after Roswell that highlights these things in particular! It also tells how we moved on leaps and bounds! Like you said previously maybe all this was disinformation to scare the enemy I don't know! I guess I want it to be true!

It's a tough subject to comprehend! One hand you have all these high ranking officials making statements it's true! On the other hand you know the government throws out disinformation to put you off! Me personally I think there has definitely been contact! I totally believe reverse engineering has occurred on E. T spacecraft! We discussed the other day what is believed they took from the crash at Roswell! Although Tesla was way ahead of his age in technological advances! I don't think he was at the point where he was designing Kevlar, fibre optics and the so called special repulsion system that was reverse engineered!
